It all begins with a discovery flight
Discovery Flights are short flights for people interested flying or taking the first step towards earning their pilot’s license. Every participant is assigned a certified flight instructor who walks you through the steps of how to safely fly an aircraft.
A Discovery Flight is a flight of approximately 30 minutes on the ground with your instructor intended to familiarize you with the airplane, the airport, and the flying environment. During most Discovery Flights, you and your instructor spend an hour of flying. With you at the controls the instructor allows you to fly for the majority of the flight.
